When we see the crowd, we get excited ‘cause that’s where the food’s at

We asked Mak Cik if her Nasi Lemak was good—her smile says it all

We dug into these succulent Ayam Bakar skewers

and the Singaporean pasar malam staple, a good ‘ol Ramly burger!

We even caught a live performance of this man belting out a tune at the pop-up Karaoke station

Besides traditional Muslim dishes and snacks, international fare are also available at the bazaar. This includes the Swiss Raclette (roasted vegetables and meat topped with bubbly molten cheese)

-Mouth-watering Turkish Doner Kebab Wraps

-and even Thai iced milk tea!

Kids are nuts about night bazaars too.

Cause of fun rides like these—watching them on the ride was like a blast from the past

We even had a go at the “Fishing” game booth (we didn’t win anything, sadly)

We also got pretty excited when we saw these tubs of cotton candy—we could munch on these fluffy clouds of sugar all day long

Let’s not forget about the addictive Keropok (deep-fried crackers)—Keropok Udang (Prawn Crackers), we’re coming for you!!

Towards the end of the bazaar, we stumbled upon the plant stall

And brought a prickly little friend home with us

Dates: Now till 14 June 2018

Opening Hours: Varies but most food stalls open for business from around 3pm or later. If you want to bask in the Ramadan festivities, the bazaar starts to get busy at around 7pm

Where: Spanning Haig Road to Paya Lebar—there'll even be a featured section in Wisma Geylang Serai, a new Malay-Muslim social, cultural and heritage hub in the area

Getting There from Royal Plaza on Scotts (By Taxi/GrabCar*): 13-minute drive from the hotel

Getting There from Royal Plaza on Scotts (By Train): Paya Lebar MRT Station, 11 stops from Orchard MRT Station (3-minute walk from Royal Plaza on Scotts Orchard Hotel)
